A Support Space for Those with Complex CIRS

Untamed Iona, LLC is excited to announce a new community offering, A Support Space for those with Complex CIRS, led by Brenda Stewart, LMHC, LPC, and Life Coach.

This Community Support Circle is designed for adults with persistent or highly sensitive CIRS presentations who need a space that honors reality—without comparison or pressure. Living with complex CIRS can be deeply isolating—especially when your experience doesn’t match the recovery stories surrounding you.

You may not tolerate most indoor environments.
Treatment may feel slow, stuck, or unpredictable.
Your capacity may be limited in ways others don’t understand.
And watching others regain freedom can bring grief, anger, or a sense of being left behind.

This is not a space to “push through,” optimize, or perform. It is a peer-based support circle grounded in compassion, nervous system safety, and shared humanity.

Here, you don’t have to be positive or relate to mainstream recovery narratives. You are allowed to be where you are.

Series Schedule

The group will meet the following Tuesdays at 2pm eastern time online via Zoom.

  • March 24th

  • March 31st

  • April 7th

  • April 14th

  • April 21st

  • April 28th

Cost is $249 for 6 group sessions. Space is limited. Reach out to register today!

*Please note this is a community support group rather than a therapy group. Brenda will lead the group as a Life Coach and not in a patient/provider relationship.

  • You feel disconnected from typical CIRS recovery spaces

  • You experience grief, frustration, or hopelessness around stalled progress

  • No pressure to share wins, milestones, or progress

  • Validation of grief, loss, and uncertainty

  • Clear boundaries around medical advice

  • Facilitation grounded in nervous system safety

This is a space where slowness, limitation, and uncertainty are not pathologized.

What You Can Expect

  • A regulated, respectful, and confidential environment

  • Peer connection without hierarchy

  • Gentle facilitation with flexible participation

  • Permission to listen, step back, or leave when needed

  • Language that honors complexity rather than minimizing it
